I am in my third year as Choral Director at Bayou View Middle School. I graduated from Newton County High School in Decatur, Mississippi. After graduating, I received an Associate of Arts at East Central Community College where I was a member of marching band, concert band, jazz band, Collegians, concert choir, Student Educator's Association, Phi Theta Kappa (Vice-President for Leadership), Student Body Association (Freshmen Secretary and Sophomore President), President's Council, Mu Alpha Theta, Warrior Corps student recruitment group, and Diamond Girls. I am also a member of East Central Community College's Academic Hall of Fame. I received a Bachelor of Music Education with vocal emphasis from The University of Southern Mississippi. While at Southern Miss, I was a member of Southern Chorale, Hattiesburg Choral Union, and Carillon Handbell Choir. With these groups, I have performed in Los Angeles, New York City, Italy, Puerto Rico, Scotland, and many places throughout the southeastern United States. I was also an active member of Collegiate MENC, the Music Educator's Association; Phi Kappa Phi; Gamma Beta Phi; and Golden Key Honor Society.
I am currently a member of Gulf Coast Civic Chorale.
