Your child will be my English II student for the next five months. During that time we will have certain objectives which need to be mastered each week in order for the student to be prepared to the English II Subject Area Test. You may access the "Student Progress Grid" in the File section to keep up with your child's prgess from home. I will be keeping a chart in my classroom and your child should be keeping up with his/her own progress with his/her own prgoress grid. I encourge you to keep a close watch on your child and his/her grades during these next five months.   

Unit One

Week eight: Nada. Take the week off!! 

Week nine: (Quiz) Ch 15: abstain, deficit, affiliate, dissent, agnostic, diversion, aspire, lucrative, benevolent, mandatory/ Ch16: charisma, poingnant, contemporary, prevalent, contend, proponent, conversly, quest, extrovert, traumatic

Week Ten: MAJOR TEST WEEK!!! Ch 17: congenial, prone, flippant, rapport, impasse, rationale, perception, relentless, prompt, reprisal/ Ch 13-17
