We are using the new Common Core Standards for reading and language arts. These are new this year.
*The students need to reads the words on the reading contract nightly and read the story at least once by Thursday. Please sign on the line each time your child reads his/her words and story. If your child is struggling while reading the story have the child bring the book home more throughout the week. Also, asking questions about the story helps to see if your child understands the story.
