If your child wants to stay Tuesday or Thursday afternoon, please make sure they have a note verifying that they will be picked up by 3:15.

Students need to complete a tutoring pass with parent signature prior to coming to tutoring.  Thanks for your help!

  • Save those Box Tops for Education - The school gets $.10 for each one turned in and the homeroom that turns in the most gets a party.  Let's get those Box Tops turned in.  Also, send in Campbell's Soup Labels.

 

Online gradebook :   Attention parents: The online gradebook is available for parent viewing. 

  https://icampus.walton.k12.ga.us/campus/walton.jsp  This is a VERY important website.  Grades will not be sent home every few weeks, but you are able to check your grades any time and it will be current.

Class Rules

Be Prompt:  Every student must be seated and working when the period begins. Tardy pass is needed if late to class.

Be Prepared:  Students should bring to class every day paper, pencils (2 or 3), binder, and math book.

Be Responsible:  The student is responsible for being on time, bringing the proper materials, doing homework and classowrk in a timely manner, paying attention to instruction, making questions when required, making up missed tests, quizzes and classnotes/work, requesting tutoring if he/she feels that he/she is getting behind.

Be Respectful:  To the teachers, to other students, to any person in the school and to themselves...all the time and everywhere.

Grading Policy

40% Mastery (tests, projects)

30% Progress (quizzes, other work completed in class to show progress)

20% Classwork/Homework

10% Participation
