4th grade vocabulary
Our students work with these vocabulary words for two weeks before they are tested. The first week we make flash cards and study the words to become familiar with them. In the second week we have homework nightly in their vocabulary workbook. I assign a page a night. They will learn the definitions, how to distinquish different parts of speech, synonyms, antonyms, and use with context clues. It's a very thorough approach to working with words. Their test will be the Friday of the second week.
