Welcome Letter
Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to the start of the 2011 - 2012 school year. I hope you have had a restful, fun filled summer as I have had. I look forward to this school year and all that God has planned for us.
I believe a good learning experience is built on a cooperative effort among parent, child, and teacher. I look forward to the work and growth we will all accomplish this year.
Our expectations for conduct and academic standards are high. With your participation both in and out of the classroom, we can look forward to a productive, creative, and enjoyable year together. I encourage volunteers in the classroom. If you are interested please let me know. Any help will be warmly appreciated.
This year changes have been made to our curriculum. We are excited about working with the Bob Jones curriculum. We believe that the Bob Jones curriculum will benefit all students and will help build solid foundations for learning. Like all changes, this will require a bit of an adjustment. I have prepared a supply list that may need to be adjusted as the school year progresses. I have tried to anticipate what will be needed ahead of time, but know that unforeseen things may come up.
Please feel free to contract me with any questions and concerns you may have. My classroom door is always open, and messages can be left for me with our school secretary, to which I will respond as soon as possible.
In Christ,
Mrs. Carter
