Spelling/Vocabulary Workshop
Level C Vocabulary Workshop is a challenging text book. To help the students be successful a unit study guide will be provided. Each child is responsible for marking their textbook for study purposes. Generally we take about 10 days to complete each unit.
The tests will have a concept grade and an application grade. The following sections are used for the concept grade: pronunciation, part of speech, spelling and definitions. The following sections are used for the application grade: synonyms, antonyms and word usage.
The children will be expected to know how to spell all the words in each unit. This will be used as the Spelling grade for the 2008-2009 school year.
