Homework Baskets help take the pain out of homework.
A few years ago, I started collecting supplies that my children need for homework and I put them in a basket near the table where they sit to do homework. I have learned that if I stock the basket with everything I need during the back to school sale it is cheaper than running out for an item when they have to have it. I don't spend a lot of money or buy fancy brands. I just buy the essential items needed. The following is a list of items commonly found in the homework basket at my house:
paper, lined and plain
pencils
cap erasers
hand held sharpener
ink pens (blue, black, and red)
colored pencils
markers
scissors
glue
