Shiloh's STARR behavior policy in the science classroom!
Safe - Students should always behave in an appropriate manner in the
science classroom. There are many potentially dangerous chemicals and breakable objects in the room so poor behavior can cause a student to be removed.
Tolerant - Always treat others how you want to be treated. You do not have to
be friends with everyone in the classroom but you should be able to get along with someone for the class period. Accept people for their differences, diversity is good!
Achieving - Never give up if you do not understand a concept. Continue to try
your best even if you do not succeed the first time.
Respectful - Treat other people and their property with respect. Students should
keep their hands to themselves and stay out of others' belongings.
Responsible - Students should be prepared for class everyday by bringing
something to write with, their textbook, and science notebook.
