From the time I was a young child, I have always loved reading and writing. As your English teacher, I look forward to sharing my love of language and literature with you!

A native of Liverpool, New York, I attended Siena College in Albany before moving to the Washington D.C. metro area to work as a writer and editor for an advertising agency. There, I was in charge of writing and editing a company newsletter for more than 5,000 employees -- my own little newspaper! In addition, I also wrote such exciting advertisements as radio and television commercials, and even billboards!

Before coming to VVS Middle School in 2008, I also worked as a 7th and 8th grade English teacher at John F. Kennedy Middle School in Utica. While at JFK, I completed my master's degree in education with a concentration in integrating technology into the curriculum. I am always seeking out new and exciting ways to use technology in our lessons!

I look forward to getting to know each of you throughout the school year. There is a writer in all of us -- I look forward to helping you discover yours!
