Welcome Letter to Parents!
WELCOME TO FOURTH GRADE!!
Hello Parents!!
Welcome back to another exciting year at Miami Lakes K-8 Center!! We are looking forward to working with you and your child this school year.
Fourth grade is a very challenging year! The students will be working on activities and projects to enrich their minds, as well as learning the basic skills needed for this grade level. They will need to stay focused and organized in order to keep up the pace. Please help us assist your child to be successful this school year by checking their homework assignments daily, and being aware of classroom activities. Check their agendas everyday!!
Your child will be changing classes this school year as well. They will be receiving reading and language arts instruction with Mrs. Raffa, and Mrs. Ojito will be their math, science and social studies teacher.
We have provided our email addresses to you for any concerns or questions you may have. This is the best way to communicate with us and we will respond to you in a timely matter. We have also asked for you to provide us with your email address on the “student information” forms sent home today. This is optional of course, but it would be helpful for us in order to contact you immediately with any concerns as well. In addition, we both have websites that are available for parents and students. Our websites will give you our home learning assignments, and other important information. The new version of our website has a place where you can post messages to us, but it is preferred that you email us for an immediate response should you have any concerns. We look forward to meeting all of our new parents and students! It's going to be a great school year!!
Sincerely,
Ms. Raffa & Mrs. Ojito
