Welcome to our class webpage! We have a tremendously exciting—and busy—year ahead, but Mrs. Skinner, our second grade assistant, and I are looking forward to the journey!

 The opportunity to teach your child is a privilege and a responsibility I take very seriously. I will do my best to motivate, comfort, and appreciate your child and all the gifts he or she will bring to our classroom. But I will need your help. Whether it’s ensuring your child has completed homework assignments, helping him or her study for a test, or simply asking your child, “What surprised or excited you in the classroom today?”, your encouragement and interest make a huge difference.

 I will keep you informed of the work your child will be doing, as well as any special events going on at our school and in our classroom. With your help and active interest, we will all have a wonderful and productive year!

In the 1st nine weeks students studied Communities.

In the 2nd nine weeks we will study Native Americans.

In the 3rd nine weeks we will study geography and Canada.

In the 1st nine weeks students will study measurement and conducting experiments.   

In the 2nd nine weeks students will study matter.
