Week of February 20-24
Last updated February 22nd, 2012 at 11:08 a.m..This week we are studying the New State of Texas beginning in 1845. The differences and similarities of the state and federal government system are important concepts for them to learn. I have given them a flow chart on this and spent a class period explaining this. We are working from the powerpoint titled: Chapter 13 and 14 which is posted to this website. Please be sure they are turning in papers, reading their chapter and notes. They are asked to read over the notes taken in class daily, but most do not seem to do this. The more familiar they are with the book and the notes, the better off they are for the test!
The test on Chapter 14 will be on Wednesday of next week, most likely.
