Classroom Management Plan
- Be on time ....You are responsible for being in your seat and ready to begin when the tardy bell rings.
- Have the appropriate materials ....You should have your texbook, paper, and pencil/pen ready when class begins. Do not ask to go to your locker after you enter the classroom.
- Do not talk without permission ....Once class has begun unnecessary talking is distracting to those trying to learn.
- Stay in your seat ....It is distracting to everyone when someone is moving around the room unnecessarily. Please sharpen your pencil as you enter the room and keep any trash you have until the end of class.
- Take care of personal grooming outside of the classroom ....It is impolite to groom in public. Any brushes, combs, picks, make-up, or other items used in class will be taken up by the teacher.
- Do not chew anything in class ....This includes gum, candy, straws, pen tops, toothpicks, paper, paper clips, rubber bands, etc.
- Take all tests in pencil ....Everyone makes mistakes. Please use a pencil so you can neatly make corrections on your test paper.
- Respect each other ....If you treat others with respect, you will be respected.
CONSEQUENCES
All rule violations will be dealt with using the following consequences. More serious violations and repeated rule violations will be dealt with in accordance with the student handbook. This handbook has been provided to each student attending IAHS.

2. Teacher/student conference during morning break
3. Teacher/student/principal conference
4. Teacher/student/parent conference
