About NHI's: An NHI or Not Handed In computes as a zero until the work IS handed in, corrected, and recorded.

Remember that zippered binders are to be left at home as they are too big for our desks. Thanks.

New as of 3-06-09 Gel pens are not to be used for classwork. Please provide regular blue or black erasable ink pens for your children. Thank you very much for your help in this matter.

Dear Parents, Mechanical pencils are showing up in fifth grade the week of 9-14-09 to 9-18-09. They are more of a toy than a writing implement. They will be put in my closet until Conference time. Thank you for your understanding. Mrs. Keefer

LUNCH: Dear Parents, There is a lot of food being thrown away at Lunch uneaten. I have suggested to my class that they take it home so as not to waste so much. Cupcakes always go first. Sandwiches last. I'm hoping to make the children aware that uneaten food is not trash. Thanks. Mrs. Keefer
