About the Teacher
My name is Diane Benton and this is my third year at MES. I moved to Maricopa from Tucson two years ago and I truly enjoy living here. I have lived in Arizona most of my life, so I consider myself a native. I have taught kindergarten, first and third grade, before deciding last year to return to third grade. I have Early Childhood and ESL Endorsements. I have two children of my own (Beau and Ashley) and one grandchild (Dylan). Traveling is a passion of mine and I hope to travel to Ireland next year. I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year.
