Future Business Leaders of America-Mid Level
Future Business Leaders of America is a vocational student organization that is recognized at the state and national levels. To be eligible to join this organization you must have at least one semester of a business class. Keyboarding qualifies you for FBLA. Officers are elected and each student has a role to play within the chapter. Locally, BJHS FBLA sponsors community service activities benefitting the March of Dimes, Relay for Life, Goodfellows at Christmas, and Make a Wish. Members are given the opportunity to participate in competitive events such as American Free Enterprise Projects, Chapter Activities Report, and Chapter of Merit district and state events. Some events compete for national recognition!! BJHS has place in the top three of these events this past year, with the American Free Enterprise project being selected as third in the state. Individuals can compete in various events as well. Local dues are due by September 15. Eligible members travel to fall and spring conferences representing and competing for Booneville Junior High School.
