Math Is As Easy As 1-2-3
At the beginning of the year we will be working with numbers, their values, and number words. We will then move to simple addition. Adding using fingers and manipulatives will help students as they learn and practice addition. We will also be learning subtraction. It important for students to remember that in addition the sum is the answer and in subtraction the difference is the answer.
Learning to add and subtract are key concepts that will be used for the rest of your child's life. It is vital that they learn this skill with accuracy.
