GCMS 8th Grade Band
February 6-10, 2012
Objectives: Students will learn and review fundamentals, and apply fundamentals to rhythms,warm-ups and all music learned and played.
Classwork:Bell Ringer --this is copied from the board at the beginning of each class and will be taken up every Friday as part of daily/weekly grade
Homework:Practice all music given. It is required that each student practice at least 75minutes per week. This will be part of their weekly grade. Please ensure that your child is practicing at home. This week practice the Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, F, C, Gb,G, and chromatic scales.
$35.00 School Owned Instrument Fee is due if your child plays an instrument owned by GCMS. This does include flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, baritones, and tubas. Instruments are given on a first come first serve basis.
