Retesting:
I will allow any student that makes below a 70 on any quiz or unit test the opportunity to take a retest. The retest will cover the same skills but will use different examples, labs, experiments, etc. Because it is essentially a NEW test over the same skills, I will take the higher of the two grades (UP TO A 92/B) rather than the average of the two grades.
If your child is taking a retest, please encourage them to study. I have had children in the past take a retest only to score more than twenty points lower than the original grade. This is a waste of my time and your child's time.
Retest days are Thursdays and / or mixed practice quiz days. Student know they only need to pick up a red pass and show up. I will be ready.
