Third grade is off to a great start in music.  We are concentrating on lot on tone production, action songs, and reading music notation.  The skills we are focusing on are as follows:

1.  watching the conductor 

2.  looking for patterns

3.  steady beat

4.  following signals

5.  listening to your voice and those around  you

6.  Tracking note and creating patterns

 So far the classes have played drums, scrapers and shakers.  Come and visit your child's music class.   3rd grade music time is at 12:30
