Skill Focus
The skills we are focusing on are as follows:
1. Watching the conductor
2. Looking for patterns
3. How to breath and sit to make a good sound.
Instruments
The instruments we have played in class so far have been:
boomwhackers
egg shakers
hand drums
Family Activity - Make a musical instrument with your child! An easy choice would be a shaker made with rice in a plastic water bottle, or tambourine made with paper plates glued together. Add beads tied on around the edges. Turn on your favorite CD and play along.
