Letters of Recommendation
I consider it an honor to be asked to write a letter on behalf of one of my students past or present. Since the vast majority of colleges and universities have specific criteria regarding letters of recommendation, I will not honor requests for generic "to whom it may concern" type letters. Once you have narrowed your college choices please bring me their specific quidelines or instructions and I will be happy to construct a letter accordingly. Please make your request at least a week before the letter is needed. Please provide a list of your "credentials;" such as your GPA, clubs, sports, or other extra-curricular activities, or anything else that you feel I should know about you, so that I can make mention of them in your letter.
