Week 8
Week 8 and we have almost completed our first grading period, the second unit has begun, and we are starting a new book.
The AR situation has been corrected and everyone has access. I had the students go into their accounts in the classroom just to be sure.
The summative projects went well. Their presentations are being done this week.
I hope everyone has The Fighting Ground by Avi, because we are reading it this week.
Finally, this will be my last School Rack update. Although my last official day is Friday, October 16, 2009, I will not be in school on Thursday or Friday. These days were scheduled before the move came about. It is a bittersweet time for me - I ADORE this group and really enjoy working at Ada. At the same time I must admit that this is a WONDERFUL opportunity for me. Once again let me thank each of you for tremendous support. The new teacher is blessed to have such an awesome group of students and parents. In the future, if you should need anything, do not hesitate to contact me at cpinckney@dadeschools.net.
