The end of 1st quarter is Friday, October 30th! All missing work needs to be turned in by the end of the day Friday.

Math Class E-Newsletter!
About once a month I will be sending an e-mail newsletter to parents/guardians about what is going on in math class. If you are not receiving the newsletter and would like to be added to the (private) distrubution list, send an email to me at acordis@schooldistrict100.org.
I Can Do It Meetings
I Can Do It (ICDI) Meetings are held on Thursdays from 3:17-4:15. This is an hour that I set aside to help students after school with current, late, or absent assignments. Students can stop by for a quick question or stay the whole hour.
If a student needs to call home to let their adult know they are staying, they are allowed to use my phone.
I try to keep to the Thursday schedule as much as possible. This week (October 8th), because of conferences, there will not be an ICDI meeting.
Peer Math Tutors
Thirteen students have applied to be "peer math tutors". During work time in Excel on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays these students are available to help their peers with math assignments.
Of course I am always available to give extra help, but peer tutoring is a great way for struggling students to hear an explanation in "kid language" and get some one-on-one help!
