The Lady Admirals of Gulfport High have achieved something that has bever been done before on the Gulf Coast or in school history. We have won the Class 5A State Championship in womens soccer. We finished the season with a 20-4-3 record (20 victories school record), 13 shoutouts (school record). We have also had a player for the first time in school history be named the Mississippi Girl's Gatorade Player of the Year, Kelsey Myrick.
We had another successful season wth the Lady Admirals. We managed to get back to the State Championship in Clinton for a second year in a row. We had a great season and even won a district title this year on our way to back to back South State Championships for the first time in school history.
We look forward to the challenge we have for this upcoming 09'-10' season with a very young team after losing 19 seniors in the last two seasons.
