Hi, I am Cindy Langenbacker. I have been teaching in the Gulfport School District for 19 years. I began at Central Elementary in 1990. I came to Bayou View in 2000. I was a kindergarten teacher for several years, then I taught first grade. I was a first and second grade looping teacher for four years. I have taught second grade for 5 years. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Southern Mississippi. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher. I was privileged to serve as Gulfport School District's Teacher of the Year in 2004. I was recently awarded the Hannah Hatfield Excellence in Teaching Award. I have been married since July 18, 1998 to my wonderful husband Joe. I have three wonderful sons, Ashton, Landon, and Wesley. I am the proud grandmother of Brody who is turning one on August 16. I love to paint, cook, garden, and I enjoy hanging out with my family. When time permits I also enjoy cruising on the back of my husband's Harley!
