Free time on Fridays
I have added a reward system for the students who demonstrate good behavior all week long. Every student has the ability to earn a half hour of "Free Time" on Fridays. Free time includes reading, drawing, solving problems, computer games, and playing various types of math and phonic games. If the student's progress grade was an A all week, she/he will receive the full half hour of free time. Otherwise, each mark during that week accounts for 5 minutes off his/her free time.
Progress Grade is similar to our grading system on papers/tests.
A-Execellent Behavior, B-Warning on behavior, C-5 minutes off recess, D-10 minutes off recess, F-will be determined by teacher/parent/principal.
