This is my 13th year to be a Bowie Bulldog! I have the privilege of teaching several government classes -- AP GoPo (US Government & Politics) & AP Comparative Politics & Government!
I am a purebred LSU Tiger -- and boy, do I get a lot of flack for that here in UT territory! I received my B.A. in journalism, and an M.A. in Humanities. I managed to marry a native Austinite, whom I met at LSU! I have two daughters, one at Small Middle School and one here at Bowie!
When I'm not teaching, chauffeuring to and from soccer, or running a household, I LOVE to travel! This summer, my family was fortunate enough to visit Mexico (we go every year to build houses in the colonias), Guatemala (to install a water purification system at an orphanage), the Caribbean (on a cruise with 19 other family members), and Canada (on a camping & kayaking adventure). I am passionate about reading (both fiction and nonfiction), and I enjoy hiking, raquetball, and attempting to play soccer!
