This is my 14th year to be a Bowie Bulldog! I have the privilege of teaching several government classes -- AP GoPo (US Government & Politics), AP Comparative Politics & Government, and Academic US Government!
I am a purebred LSU Tiger -- and boy, do I get a lot of flack for that here in UT territory! I received my B.A. in journalism, and an M.A. in Humanities. I managed to marry a native Austinite, whom I met at LSU! I have two daughters, both students here at Bowie!
When I'm not teaching, you'll find me reading, playing outside, watching soccer, or travelling! This summer, my family was fortunate enough to visit Mexico (we go every year to build houses in the colonias) and Guatemala (to work at a village school and at an orphanage).
