Compare a mercator projection map to a robinson projection map

    A mecator map projection in which meridians and parallel of latitude appear as lines crossing at right angles and areas appear greater farther from the equator.A robinson projecion map is a compromise map projection showing the poles as lines rather than points and more accurately portraying high latitude lands and water to land ratio. Thats the comparison of a mercator,and robinson projection map.

    Robinson and Mercator projection maps are alike because they both have parallel latutide lines and both show accurate lines land areas of the continents
