ENERGIZING BRAIN BREAKS

Parents, sometimes you may see your child doing different activities. We call them Energizing Brain Breaks. We may stop doing a lesson and get refereshed in 1-2 minutes by taking an Energizing Brain Break. Energizing Brain Breaks are a collection of 50 quick activities you can do at school, or anywhere to get refreshed from mental and physical fatigue. They are 1-2 minute brain and body challenges that are fun and help your child regain their efficiency. The collection includes individual, partner, and group activities. I am finding Energizing Brain Breaks help students to refocus and to stay alert. An example of one may be Arm Stretch: you will be stretching your arms together from side to side. You may also try standing on one leg while doing this activity. Balancing on one leg helps your core strength.
