Assignments
Students will receive grades for classwork and for homework assignments. It is important that students write assignments in their agendas, complete every assignment, and write their name on every assignment.
Classwork will be collected at the end of each class. A student who is present and does not submit the work will receive a zero for that class assignment. A student who does not write their name on the their work will receive a zero for that assignment. Quiz and test scores fall into this category, and may sometimes be counted as two grades.
Homework will be assigned with a due date. A student who is present on the day the assignment is given and present on the day the assignment is due who does not submit the work will receive a zero for that homework assignment. A student who does not write their name on the their work will receive a zero for that assignment.
Absences that are excused provide the student three class periods to make up any missed work. Work submitted after three days or for unexcused absences will not be accepted.
