Your child ALWAYS has homework

Second Graders should be:

1. Reading with or without you for 1/2 hour every night.  Please keep track of this on the weekly form in your child's homework folder!  (Students will take AR Tests at school once the system is up and running.)

2. Working with "Yes I Can" flashcards and exercises (which will be reviewed and distributed at Back to-School Night, September 20th).

3. Drilling Addition and Subtraction Facts to 20 everynight.

4. Sharing their Assignment Logs which have weeks spelling and vocabulary words as well as assignments written per day inside them.

Middle Schoolers (7th and 8th graders) should be:

1.Reading for at least 1/2 hour every night and taking AR tests on the books they have read.

2. Sharing their Assignment Logs with parents everynight.

3. Drilling multiplication and division facts everynight.
