Learning in the AAE Library Media Center allows students to:
Actively take charge of, guide, and reflect on their own thinking and learning process by making choices, identifying, applying, revising, challenging, and self-critiquing.
Explore, create, and question different view points to problem solve beyond the familiar.
Analyze and explain by observing carefully, looking at details, demonstrating how things work, describing, and evaluating.
Reason about causes and prediction by looking at multiple causes for an event, forecasting consequences, and predicting outcomes.
Make connections through prior knowledge and interest and by connecting to ourselves and the outside world.
