Mrs. Davis's First Grade

Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year at Liberty Christian Academy! I am so excited for this school year and am thankful that you have chosen LCA to educate your child! I am honored for the opportunity to teach your child this year.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Brittany Davis. I graduated with an Elementary Education degree from Clearwater Christian College in May 2009. In June 2009, I married my highschool sweetheart, Brandon Davis, a firefighter for the city, and moved back to Fayetteville. This is my third year teaching at LCA and my second year teaching first grade. I am very excited and blessed to teach your child.

First grade will be an exciting year full of new things and mastering concepts already introduced. It will be a busy and fun-filled year. We will be using the Bob Jones University curriculum this year. Students will be reading several larger books throughout the year. They will be mastering print handwriting this year, before transitioning to cursive in Second grade.
