Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! My name is Stephanie Burns, and this is my fourth year teaching at Bayou View Elementary. I am originally from Sarasota, Florida; I moved to Mississippi three years ago. I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and my Masters degree in Elementary Education, specializing in Educational Technology, from the University of Florida. Go Gators! During the previous three years, I taught third grade. This year, I am excited to be the new B.O.O.S.T. teacher! It is such an honor to be given the opportunity to teach children and to work at such a wonderful school! Teaching is not just a job to me, but a passion of mine. I could not imagine being in any other profession. I look forward to a wonderful school year!
