Student policy

  • Students are responsible for returning books on time and in good condition.
  • Kindergarten students may check out 1 book at a time.
  • First grade students may check out 2 books at a time.
  • Second, third, and fourth grade students may check out 3 books at a time.
  • Fees:  No fines for overdue books.  Damaged books are charged according to the extent of damage and cost of repairs.  Lost books are charged the full price of the book.  Outstanding fees will result in the loss of library priviledges and may result in the loss of other priviledges in school.

Faculty policy

  • Faculty may check out any library resources, including reference items.
  • There is no limit on number of items checked out.
  • Lost or damaged items will result in replacement or repair fees.

Donation policy

Donated books are evaluated by:

  •   Fits curriculum.
  •   Good condition.

All donated books will be considered for library use first and then the classroom.  Books that are not needed for the library or classroom will be donated to an appropriate group or agency.
