Meet the Teacher
My name is Beth Wilson and this is my sixth year to teach at Bayou View Elementary. I spent my first year of teaching first grade at Richland Elementary in Jackson, Mississippi. I graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education with concentrations in science and social studies (K-12). I am currently working on my Master's in Gifted Education at William Carey University and recently recieved an endorsement in gifted education. I am a wife and proud mother of two kids: Addie and Thomas. They keep me extremely busy. In my spare time which is RARE>>> I like to go out in our boat and enjoy participating and watching sports (tennis, baseball, & football).
I have been the B.O.O.S.T. (Building On Our Skills Together) teacher for four years. I truly enjoy reaching out to the community to find the best mentors for my students to work with. Please feel free to visit the B.O.O.S.T. lab to see what's happening with our students and mentors.
