The week of April 9, we will be doing the following. We are reviewing for TCAP.  This week we are reading The Unsinkable Wreck of the RMS Titanic. We will be reviewing main idea, and supporting details, summary, sequence of events, point of view and learning how to use reference materials.Laughing

The week of April 16 will also be a review week. We will be working on story elements, and all associated skills. We will also work on mulitiple meaning words, synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, and prefixes, suffixes, and root words.

We will read a novel after TCAP testing.

After TCAP testing is over, we will begin a novel, Top Secret. I do not have enough copies to send the book home, so we will read in class. Students who are absent may check out a book to catch up. There will be tests and a project. We will continue to read in our texts.
