Reading Time
A typical Soar to Success lesson lasts from 25 to 30 minutes.
- Revisiting (5 minutes) Studnts review what was read in the previous lesson or lessons.
- Predicting (5 minutes) Students preview the text they are about to read. They predict what they will read about in the day's lesson.
- Reading (10-15 minutes) Students read the text.
- Summarizing (5 minutes) Students discuss important events and themes in the text they just read.
