6th grade-Skin Protection Brochure.    This project is to be done both in and out of class.  Students may gather information on their own both in and out of class and type it in to a tri-fold brochure in class using Publisher software.  To best use our school supplies, we do not print pictures on the computer at school.  We use magazine pictures or print them at home.

7th grade -Laundry Project-This assignment should explain how to launder clothes.   A project guide is given to clearly explain what is expected in the project.

The second 7th grade project is to select, investigate and demonstrate how to use an appliance used to make food.  Guidelines are handed out and a set of questions is used to aid in understanding the appliance more completely.  Students are assigned a date to present the information to the class. Along with  the information, students should prepare a food in class and offer a sample to the students in the class.

8th grade- FCCLA program-Students research a national program of Family Career And Community Leaders of America.  They will prepare a power point presentation that explains the program and present it to the  class.
