Beginning to Write

Learning to write is a life long skill that all students will need.  In Kindergarten, we build upon a child's desire to convey meaning through drawings, scribblings, and beginning print of letters.  To support this development, we will begin tracing a variety of lines (straight, diagnal, curved, and dotted lines).  We will also work on:

correct letter formation

tracing of first name

writing names with beginning capital letters
