CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
Attendance and Tardies: following Paulding County Board of Education Policy An unexcused tardy or an unexcused absence equals a zero in any work that is graded by the teacher during the time not in class. All other absences or tardies must have a medical or legal excuse in order to be excused; missed work must also be completed and submitted within three school days upon the students return. What is considered an excused or an unexcused absence can be found in the student handbook. If a student is absent, he/she should check www.schoolrack.com/barber or www.schoolrack.com/hlugo or e-mail the teacher to inquire about the work that needs to be done or made up. Also, calling a classmate to inquire about work done or to be done is highly recommended! For further inquiries please refer to the student handbook regarding the attendance policy.
Any questions or concerns may be addressed to the teacher by e-mailing. Messages can also be left by calling the school at (770) 445-5100.
