Our review begins Monday as we take our unit test on the skills and stories of ou unit on Our Changing World. We will test on Monday and Tuesday and begin our new unit on Wed. February 23. Our first story will be "Firefighter." We will talk, read and write about responsibility. Our Amazing Words will be: community, responsible, teamwork, operation. New vocabulary words for this story will be: station, building, roar, masks, quickly, tightly, burning, fireproof, hydrant, outriggers.We will continue to work on the concept of main idea and supporting details, and author's purpose. Text structure will be discussed and practiced during the reading of "Firefighter."
