Service Project

This year as a school, we have set as a goal to teach and learn to serve on a global level. Each level of learning in the school has researched and chosen a project. The Early Childhood and Primary level are working together to adopt a school in Colombia, South America. Our first order of business is getting acquainted with each other. We in Pre-school have written a note to our new amigos in Colombia and drew a picture of ourselves.
Recent update:
We will have a large jar in the classroom for the children to donate coins to their amigos. We will be asking you to take your child shopping for our Colombian amigos for specific school supplies. At this time I do not know exactly for what they are asking . However when you shop with your child we ask you to help teach that they are shopping for those children who can not go and buy these supplies for themselves.
I hope in the next week or two to begin making Rosaries for our amigos. Your children have completed their own Rosaries and did a great job!
I will keep you up to date with this service goal under this title post "Service Project".
