On normal weeks, there will be spelling homework on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. There is a list of homework activities, stapled inside your child's spelling notebook.
Spelling tests will be on Fridays or the last day of the week. Pre-tests will take place on Fridays or the last day of the week for the next weeks list.
1. Write each word 5 times.
2. Write each word in a sentence
3. Alphabetize your words.
4. Make a word chain using your words.
Challenge1. Use your words to create a word find puzzle.
2. Use your words to write an original story.
3. Illustrate and create a greeting card and message using your words.
4. Use you words to write a letter to someone.
5. Create riddles with your words.
6. Use the letters in each word to make as many words as you can.
7. Locate your words in the dictionary and write the definitions.
8. Use your words to create a crossword puzzle.
9. Illustrate each of your words.
Each week students should complete four activities.
