Meet Miss Halvachs
Hello everyone! Welcome to 6th grade Language Arts. I am really looking forward to having you in my class this year! 
About Me:
I am originally from Fairview Heights, IL and I went to high school at Althoff Catholic High School. While at Althoff I was involved in many activities, including playing varsity softball.
From Althoff I went off to college in Normal, IL at Illinois State University. At ISU I studied Middle Level Education. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Education Degree with endorsements in Language Arts and Social Science. I also obtained a minor in Criminal Justice Sciences. While I was in college, I was a member of the Collegiate Middle Level Association, and an executive board member for two of those years.
I love working with middle school students and I am so happy to be able to share in the education experiences of our 6th grade class this year!
