            Mi nombre es Arturo Ramírez soy originario de León Gto., México .Cursé mis estudios Universitarios en la Ciudad de Guadalajara y trabajé allí por 5 años en la escuela secundaria y preparatoria, además  en la educación abierta para adultos. Después me fui a la ciudad de México para cursar dos años de Filosofía y Letras. Decidí venir a Chicago y enrolarme en la Universidad estatal de Chicago para recibir mi Bachillerato en educación Bilingüe e Inglés como segundo idioma. Al mismo tiempo trabajé como maestro en le escuela Pershing por siete años. He terminado en diciembre mi maestría en Currículo e Instrucción  en la Universidad Concordia. Este es mi quinto año en la escuela Komensky. Estoy casado y tengo una hija y dos hijos y mi esposa es también maestra en el Colegio Morton.

My name is Arturo Ramirez and I was born in Leon, Gto., Mexico. I earned my teaching degree in Guadalajara , Jal., where I worked for 5 years. Later I went to Mexico City to study Philosophy and Literature. Years later I came to Chicago and I attended to Chicago State University to earn my teaching degree in Bilingual and ESL education. Recently I received my Master Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University.

I have been working in the district for about 12 years and this is my fifth year working at Komesky School in third grade. I am married and I have two boys and a girl. My wife is working at Morton College in the ESL department. Welcome to our class.
