Audrey Poston

Birthday:  I was born March 20 in Cicero, Illinois.  I moved to Tennessee when I was 7 years old.  I now live with my family in Munford.

Education:  I graduated from Covington High School in 1988.  I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Memphis, Master of Arts in Education from Cumberland University, and my Library/Media Specialist endorsement from the University of Memphis.

Work History:  I have been working for the Brighton School System since 1992.  I began teaching 4th grade at Brighton Elementary School, where I also taught 2nd and 5th grades.  5th grade was my favorite!  I continued to teach 5th grade at Brighton Middle School when it opened in 1999.  I became the Librarian at Brighton Middle in 2001.

Coaching & Clubs: I have been the cheerleading coach at BMS off and on for several years.  I have also been the yearbook advisor for many years.  I enjoy them both very much and have extremely high standards for them. 

Family:  My husband is Jason Kiss.  I have 2 children.  Haley is a senior at BHS Cry, and Colby is in 7th grade at BMS Cool.

Pets:  3 dogs: Zoe, long-haired Chihuahua Innocent; Poncho, Sheltie Smile; Sherman, mixed breed rescued dog Tongue out

Hobbies:  I enjoy reading, collecting books, and scrapbooking.  I spend a great deal of time watching Haley play softball and Colby play baseball.  I also love Tennessee football! Surprised

Favorite Authors/Books:  I will read anything by Nicholas Sparks and Mary Higgins Clark.  The Twilight Saga and Midnighter's Trilogy are awesome! Wink
