Community Skills Classroom

Dear Parents,

Here is an overview of the topics that will be covered this school year. I will be available to talk with you any day between 1:00 and 2:15, either by phone or in person.  Please call the classroom, 897-6046, to set up an appointment.  You are always welcome to visit the classroom and see what your child is doing in class. Grading: 

            Grades are determined by classroom performance.  All IEP objectives should be mastered at 80%.  Skills and assignments are practiced until success is achieved.  Students are not penalized for lack of ability to perform a task but rather rewarded for effort and attention to task.  You will receive a regular progress report at 4 ½ weeks and a copy of their service goals and progress every nine weeks.
